Homemade Tonic SyrupThis refreshing Tonic makes a wonderful "Hostess Gift", especially for Housewarmings and at Holiday celebrations. It is intended to be used with your fruit beverage drinks (especially your Citrus and Berry beverages) and certain cocktails (e.g., Tom Collins and Gin & Tonic), and especially during the Summertime months.
While some of the ingredients for this wonderful "mixer" may be difficult to find (see "Notes", below), or even a bit "pricey", the end result is well worth both the effort and the expense. Try this once and you will never again be able to enjoy store-bought Tonic (Quinine) Water the way you used to.

Disclaimer: While a wonderful GIFT IDEA for (perhaps) Neighbors and Friends, Teachers, Hair Stylists and Manicurists, Pet Walkers and/or Groomers, Postal Workers, etc., this Recipe may be considered "rich" by some and/or may contain certain ingredients that may not be suitable for all of your proposed recipients.
Consider your own personal HEALTH situation as well as the HEALTH situations of your proposed recipients when deciding whether or not to include this Recipe (or any other) in your Holiday and/or other year-round Gift Giving preparations. |
